Holocaust Memorial Day
First They Came for the Jews
First they came for the Jews
and I did not speak out
because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for the Communists
and I did not speak out
because I was not a Communist.
Then they came for the trade unionists
and I did not speak out
because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for me
and there was no one left
to speak out for me.

In these pictures we are using the interactive whiteboard to learn French. We were learning about families and how you put mon in front of a male and ma in front of a female and if there is more than one you put mes. It was really enjoyable because you could actually get off your seat and move things around on the board using your finger. This helped us to remember because its fun and you keep it in your head. If it is boring you lose it. French is harder than it looks.

This Term’s Topics
The school is divided into two classes: P1-3 & P4-P7. This term the upper school will be doing a topic on the Home Front during WW2. The lower school topic will be My Body. We would be very interested to hear from anyone who was at school in Argyll during WW2.
