Our solution in brief

For maths we had to do a problem solving test to get Mr Edie to Hobart Tasmania.  This is what we did: 

29.6.2007 

         08.55 Board bus 926 from Lochgilphead (Lochnell Street).       

         11.35 Bus arrives @ Glasgow International Airport.

         12.25 Check-in for British Airways flight no.1487.

         14.25 Depart Glasgow International Airport, connect at Heathrow Airport for Quantas Airways, flight no.10. 

30.6.07

         04.45 Arrive @ Melbourne Airport.

         10.50 Check-in @ Melbourne Airport.

         12.50 Depart Melbourne Airport.

         14.00 Arrive at Hobart Airport.

         14.30 Arrive at Hotel and enjoy your holiday!  21.7.07

         4.00   Arrive at Hobart Airport.

         06.15 Depart from Hobart Airport, flight 10.

         07.25 Arrive at Melbourne Airport.

         9.25   Depart from Melbourne Airport. 22.7.07

         19.45 Arrive at Glasgow International Airport. 

         21.26 Get on bus at Airport.

         23.40 Arrive back in Lochgilphead

         And go home!

Total price:£1823.80 including hotel.

    Good to see you managed to get my big brother down to visit me here in Tasmania. Australia.

    There is another way to do it, he could climb on a bicycle and cycle to Australia.
